Collection: Emile Claus Postcards

Emile Claus (1849–1924) led the Belgian Luminist movement, painting the Leie river valley around Astene and Ghent bathed in natural sunlight. This set follows his recurring subjects: women picking flowers and gathering ferns, barefoot workers carrying wheat sheaves, bridges at sunset, and gardens thick with hollyhocks and daisies — impressionist brushwork built on direct observation of light rather than studio invention.
