Bruno Liljefors

Bruno Liljefors (1860–1939) is Sweden's most celebrated wildlife painter, admired for capturing animals in their natural habitat with rare accuracy and immediacy. His works — red foxes moving through snow-covered spruces, mallards landing on frozen rivers, Arctic hares in winter coats — remain among the most recognisable images in Scandinavian art.
