Collection: Martin Johnson Heade

Martin Johnson Heade (1819–1904) painted hummingbirds and orchids the way other artists painted royalty — with total, loving attention to iridescent feathers and waxy petals. This set draws on that obsession: Crimson Topaz Hummingbirds, a Cattleya Orchid and Hummingbird pair, a Blue Morpho Butterfly, alongside quieter still lifes of roses, apple blossoms and lilies.
