At the River — Mykola Pymonenko Postcard

Painted by Mykola Pymonenko (1862–1912), this riverside scene is typical of his sun-warmed Ukrainian summer studies — a young woman pausing with her water bucket, a horseman watering his mount in the green distance. Pymonenko's genre work is often called one of the most empathetic visual records of pre-revolutionary rural Ukraine.

The A6 postcard format lets the work travel: send it as a postcrossing card, slip it into a journal, or keep it as a small piece of Ukrainian art history at your desk.
