"Kyiv Flower Girl" is one of Mykola Pymonenko's best-loved Kyiv subjects — a smiling young flower seller offering a basket of white lilies on a sunlit city street, painted with the warmth that defines his urban genre work. Pymonenko (1862–1912) is widely regarded as a founder of modern Ukrainian genre painting.
