Henri Lebasque — Garden at Champigny art postcard

From about 1900 to 1924 Henri Lebasque lived in Champigny-sur-Marne, just east of Paris, and the garden there became one of his recurring subjects. Light through leaves, family at ease, a path that does nothing particular — the kind of place a painter measures a life by.
