Gustav Klimt "Portrait of Emilie Flöge" — Art Postcard

Emilie Flöge was Klimt’s lifelong companion and the founder of a Viennese fashion house known for its reform dress. The 1902 portrait (Wien Museum) places her against blue Secessionist geometry — cool, architectural, modern. This is not yet the golden Klimt but an earlier experiment with decorative surface.
