Fulfillment is the answering panel of the Stoclet Frieze — the closing image of the Brussels mosaic cycle that begins with Expectation. Two figures fold into a single golden mantle of squares and spirals. The embrace here is complete; nothing waits. Designed for Palais Stoclet between 1905 and 1909, the Frieze is rarely seen at its intended scale.
