Watering the Garden, 1925, Peder Mønsted — Art Postcard

Painted in 1925, this is one of the late-summer garden pieces Mønsted returned to throughout his mature period. A young woman waters a bed of orange lilies while an elderberry tree breaks into white bloom behind her — late June or early July in Denmark, rendered with the botanical precision Mønsted was known for.

The 10×15 cm card on 350 g/m² stock holds the bright, almost saturated summer palette of the original. Useful for postcrossing in the warmer months, or as a small reproduction for collectors of Mønsted's late garden scenes.
