Cottage with Family, 1934 — Peder Mørk Mønsted Postcard

One of Mønsted's last major cottage-garden subjects, dated 1934. A woman sits with two children on a bench in bright summer light, her hands at needlework, tall red and pink hollyhocks rising over them against the whitewashed wall, climbing roses to the far side. The generational scene — three figures gathered into a small patch of cool shadow on a hot day — is one of the warmest notes in his late landscape work.

Reproduced at 10×15 cm on 350 g/m² card by Zolota Ptakha Publishing House, the print keeps the high summer contrast and saturated hollyhock reds and pinks intact.
