The Flowered Drawing Room — Stanislav Zhukovsky Postcard

Almost every surface in this room has a flower on it. The curtains are flowers, the chairs are flowers, the lampshade is flowers, the rug — a different set of flowers. In the middle of all that pattern Zhukovsky still finds room for two real bouquets on real tables, and an oval portrait over the central table that looks down on the whole arrangement.
