Thatched Farmhouse on Saaler Bodden — Postcard by Paul Müller-Kaempff

A thatched-roof farmhouse sits behind a hedge, its yard shaded by trees just breaking into spring blossom, a dirt path leading past a wooden fence toward the water. Paul Müller-Kaempff painted this corner of the Saaler Bodden, the lagoon near the Baltic art colony of Ahrenshoop that he and his fellow painters returned to again and again.
