Jenny Nyström Woman Writing Christmas Cards by the Tree — Postcard

Among all subjects in the Jenny Nyström oeuvre, few carry quite the charm of this one — a young woman in a red dress writing at a table by a decorated Christmas tree while a younger girl watches over her shoulder, an inkwell and pen at hand. A card about the act of sending cards: the perfect choice for postcrossers, for those who still believe in handwritten correspondence, and for anyone who collects with intention.
