In 1893 Monet bought the field across the road from his Giverny house, diverted a stream, and built the water garden whose green wooden bridge would carry his late work. The Japanese Footbridge — painted again and again across thirty years — is the image most people see when they hear his name: a low arched span, willows brushing the surface, water lilies sliding out from below.
Printed on 350 g/m² card in A6 format with a glossy front, the postcard holds the cool greens of the pond. Send it through a Postcrossing exchange, give it to a friend who plans gardens, or use it as a quiet front-of-shelf piece beside other art cards from the painting collection.
