Geese at the Farmhouse Pump — Brendekilde Art Postcard

Four geese cluster around wooden tubs at an old cast-iron hand pump, just steps from a thatched, whitewashed cottage. Roses, delphiniums and other perennials crowd the garden beds, and a large apple tree spreads its shade over the whole yard. Brendekilde signed the canvas lower left.
