Jenny Nyström Postcards

Jenny Nyström (1854–1946) is Sweden's most celebrated Christmas illustrator, the artist whose rosy-cheeked children and mischievous tomten defined the Swedish julkort for over fifty years. This collection gathers her most loved winter scenes: children sledding through snowy forests, throwing snowballs, skiing between pines, and feeding birds in the garden. Others show quieter moments — a girl decorating a gingerbread ornament, a woman writing Christmas cards by candlelight, a horse-drawn sleigh crossing the snow.
