Manor House in Autumn (1907) by Polish painter Stanisław Kamocki presents a quiet rural landscape transformed by the colors of the changing season. A narrow garden path leads toward a traditional manor house, framed by mature trees, autumn foliage and carefully arranged garden vegetation.

Kamocki was one of the leading landscape painters associated with the Young Poland (Młoda Polska) movement. His art was deeply connected with the Polish countryside, and recurring motifs in his landscapes included trees, fields, village houses, manor houses and rural churches observed at different times of the year. He studied in Kraków under artists including Jan Stanisławski and later continued his education in Paris. The painting is held by the National Museum in Warsaw.

The warm ochre, russet and green tones, expressive brushwork and winding path create an intimate sense of an autumn garden and countryside retreat. Rather than presenting a grand panoramic landscape, Kamocki draws attention to the atmosphere of a lived-in rural setting, where architecture and nature become part of the same composition.

This fine art postcard brings a work of early 20th-century Polish landscape painting into the world of modern correspondence. It is a thoughtful choice for postcrossing, snail mail, postcard collecting and for anyone who enjoys historic European art, autumn landscapes and the quiet beauty of traditional gardens.
